At PSG Tech, our department (Mathematics and Computer Applications) is the only department which doesn’t produce any Engineering graduates. Yet, many of our Alumni big shots in the industry. I knew it for a while, but it was apparent last weekend when we had the Alumni meet. Chairman of Computer Society of India, VP of IBM, Founder of 24×7 Customer (add your truly myself ;-)) all are products of our department.
This alumni meet was tagged as “Re-live your golden days”. Don’t know who coined it, but few of us really lived the golden days. As usual we entered the college late; spent time with our librarian; tea-time at NMB Bakery; bunked the afternoon events for a movie @ Archana; loud chat in the terrace till 3 AM (next time my neighbors are going to shout at me) and the next day trip to Thirumurthi Hills. It was exactly like the college days. Friends and fun. Longing for next get together in Jan end in the name of Guru’s wedding
